A PERFORMATIVE APPROACH TO A FLESHLESS HERITAGE
What visible and invisible legacies do we carry around with us? An ivory tooth gives its future heiress and four performance artists cause to search for responsibility in a society whose colonial heritage still resides in museums, cellars and bodies.
The open rehearsal on 26 November 2023 will be followed by an open discussion with the artists and the audience.
A production by Bouizedkane/Jerat/Konaté/Reimann/Wolff in co-production with LOFFT - DAS THEATER and Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel. Supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media within the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR, the City of Leipzig - Cultural Office, the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the State of Schleswig-Holstein, the Erhard Friedrich Foundation and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget passed by the Saxon state parliament.
