In a ballet for three "mothers" in excavators on a derelict site in Leipzig, STUDIO URBANISTAN poses the question of the place of parents in the (working) world in a rough setting with large machines.
This event takes place in the framework of the KATAPULT festival.
A production of STUDIO URBANISTAN in co-production with KATAPULT - Performance Plattform Leipzig and FREISCHWIMMEN.
KATAPULT - Performance Plattform Leipzig is a project of LOFFT - DAS THEATER, Schaubühne Lindenfels and Residenz Schauspiel Leipzig. FREISCHWIMMEN is a production platform for performance and theater, supported by brut Wien, FFT Düsseldorf, Gessnerallee Zürich, HochX Theater and Live Art München, LOFFT - DAS THEATER, Schwankhalle Bremen, SOPHIENSÆLE Berlin and Theater Rampe Stuttgart, under the management of SOPHIENSÆLE GmbH, funded by the program "Verbindungenfördern" of the Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste, supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. Supported by the Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media within the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget passed by the Saxon state parliament.
