WIR IN DER WELT | US IN THE WORLD

Under the artistic direction of Susanne Lusche and Lilian Mosquera, the children explore their individual movement possibilities and discover new,so far unknown forms of movement. Cultural diversity is experienced as an enrichment, while the children gain unifying movement experiences in the group. The project offers the opportunity to the children to creatively incorporate their personal life experiences into the group. The aim is to transform everyday experiences into a creative experience through rhythm and movement impulses, improvisation, dance theatre and contemporary dance. In the end, the children will present a short dance piece in front of their families, friends and teachers. During the project, the children have the opportunity to visit the GRASSI Museum. The primary school children also have the possibility to perform their dance pieces at LOFFT - DAS THEATER during the winter holidays. A central aim of the project is to connect institutions from rural areas with the city of Leipzig and to encourage a creative exchange.
