OFF EUROPA: WHO KILLED BAMBI
Çağlar Yiğitoğulları (Türkei/Deutschland)
The minimalist laboratory setting created by Turkish-born artist Çağlar Yiğitoğulları, which offers little protection, increasingly becomes a place for taking stock of precarious lives, not least those of migrants.
Inspired by punk and Fluxus, ‘Who Killed Bambi’ is a kind of cry for help using theatrical means, a mercilessly subjective, highly sensitive and, above all, radically honest view of social coldness and human brutality, of oppression and external control. Admittedly on the verge of an outburst of rage, despair and resignation.
From 16 years.
Content note: This performance includes the use of real blood and depicts acts of self-harm.
In German.
