MMTO (LEIPZIG)
In an exploration of societal images and stigmas, the play negotiates the relationships between single mothers and their daughters.
MOTHER, ME, THE OTHER explores the relationships between single moms and their daughters within society. Through movement, language, and sound, it merges maternal and filial perspectives, aiming to spotlight this overlooked group and encourage dialogue. It's a tribute to single mothers from their daughters' viewpoint.
Unfortunately, the WERKSTATT production in June 2024 has to be cancelled due to discontinued funding from the City of Leipzig. Big thanks to the LEIPZIGSTIFTUNG for supporting the production in May 2024.
