Learn the basic steps and background knowledge of traditional Greek dances with the Griechenhaus Leipzig.
Discover the world of Greek dance in a relaxed atmosphere! In this open dance class, you will learn simple and lively step sequences – from the lively Hassaposervikos to the mythical ‘Dance of Theseus’. The dance class is led and accompanied by Rolf-Michael Turek and the dance team of the German-Greek Society ‘Griechenhaus Leipzig’ e.V.
No previous experience is necessary, just a love of movement and dancing together.
The class will be followed by a performance of the dance piece LASKARINES by Vasiliki Bara.
