LEIPZIG DENKT: COURAGE & DISPLEASURE
Interdisciplinary festival of thought, dialogue and art
LEIPZIG DENKT is an interdisciplinary festival of thought, dialogue and art. In 2024 it is dedicated to the phenomena of courage, displeasure and alienation. The festival creates and tests spaces in different settings for thinking and talking together in public.
It mixes elements, impulses and discussion dramaturgies from the theatre and the arts with those from philosophy and the humanities and social sciences. In addition to the LOFFT, the festival takes place at many other cultural and knowledge venues in Leipzig, including the Ostpassage Theatre, Moritzbastei, University Library, Literaturhaus, Budde-Haus, Südbrause and Kurt-Masur-Platz.
