JOY (EN)

JOY is a living archive of human feelings on the brink of disappearing – so long they are there, we are humans. As we dive further into the countless possibilities offered by technologies, as we trans-locate meetings into virtual rooms and trans-form ourselves to serve our ideals, a myriad of emotions struggle with legitimisation. Six dancers with different urgencies, uncertain of their futures, meet on the dance floor and search for different means and layers to (en)JOY – alone and together, elusive and overwhelming, JOY is in their memories, JOY is in their bodies; in colours, sounds and scents; in the space between hope and hopelessness; amidst sense and nonsense and in the freedom to create. But is JOY only that, what they assume?
