HEIZHAUS ON STAGE is an evening where all dancers, big and small, from the Heizhaus can be seen together on stage. In addition, the dance theatre pieces STORIES OF GRÜNAU and SCHÖN GENUG will celebrate their premieres!
HEIZHAUS ON STAGE is returning to LOFFT for the second time, an evening where all dancers, big and small, from Heizhaus can be seen together on stage. For years, the range of dance classes and diversity at Heizhaus, the socio-cultural centre in Leipzig-Grünau, has been growing steadily. It offers space for development, especially for subcultural dance styles such as hip hop, breaking, K-pop and house. This is unique in Leipzig. HEIZHAUS ON STAGE presents a colourful programme. Here, the audience can learn a lot about these dance cultures. In addition, the dance theatre pieces STORIES OF GRÜNAU and SCHÖN GENUG will celebrate their premieres. STORIES OF GRÜNAU uses hip hop, modern dance and photography to tell stories of favourite places, experiences and friendships in the neighbourhood. SCHÖN GENUG critically explores prevailing beauty standards through the medium of dance theatre.
