EURO-SCENE LEIPZIG: BODY, MATERIAL, SPACE
PLATTFORM FÜR DEUTSCH-FRANZÖSISCHE KUNST (LYON) | FELIX BAUMANN + MARIE GOURDAIN
A one-week Franco-German theatre workshop on the practices of visual theatre and choreographic installation, ending with a public showcase.
In their artistic work, Marie Gourdain and Felix Baumann combine elements of contemporary dance, physical theatre and circus with stage installations and scenographic materials. The workshop focuses on the relationship between body and material, as well as the dialogue between object, performer and space. Drawing on practices from visual theatre and choreographic installation, participants experiment with “body landscapes” and “moving materials”.
