The third piece from the Rumpel Pumpel Theater Collective will premiere this summer as part of the Kunstfest Weimar. In the showing attached to their residency here at LOFFT, they will offer first insights.
Boom! Bang! Pow! Daughters, tie your moms tight and chill the peppermint schnapps: The Rumpel-Pumpel Theater is touring the country. For ages 12 and up, the anarchic acting troupe brings sparkling entertainment and diadems made of disco balls.
Between roller coasters, raffles, and free-fall towers, everyday carnival madness reigns here. Follow the calls of the world's best barker, Jackomo Jackson, and accompany Lassie Jason and Count Adelmann to Bad Reiniger in pursuit of the cursed Joke Almanac through the crazy loops of local history – until the last peg has been pulled. Rest assured, the pony ride of quirky entertainment has a steed ready for everyone.
Following the performance, there will be a feedback discussion moderated by the Leipzig-based initiative you are warmly invited.
