The Second World War ended 80 years ago - a time that still shapes us today. Remembering and coming to terms with this dark past has had a profound impact on our understanding of responsibility, guilt and reconciliation.
We warmly invite you to a special evening of dialogue in which we will talk to experts and personalities from various fields about the importance of the culture of remembrance and consider how we can preserve it for future generations.

This event organised by ZDF, ZDFinfo, phoenix and LOFFT - DAS THEATER offers a special opportunity for exchange and reflection. ZDF will be showing excerpts from the current documentary series ‘Auschwitz - Survival in Hell’, ‘Forbidden Love - Queer Fates in the Nazi Dictatorship’ and the mini-series ‘Roadtrip 1945’.
